Couple’s Sunset Photos in Seattle

Soft, sweet, dreamy. This late summer session at Seattle’s Discovery Park (one of my favorite locations for photos in Seattle) hit all the marks for a casual couple’s photo session.

Also, a little reminder: you don’t need a “conventional” milestone to get professional photos. These two were married during the pandemic and weren’t able to document their relationship with a photographer there. Now, on the other side and with a young kid, too, we were able to spend an evening together just focused on them.

Potential clients will often say that they “just want a few quick photos” and think that more than an hour together sounds too long.

It’s not.

Trust me.

An hour goes surprisingly quick, especially if you’re wanting to get a variety of images or feel a little nervous about the experience. (Rarely does anyone say they feel comfortable in front of the camera!)

We need time to sink into things, get comfortable, see what setting and lighting is working best in the moment, and create the opportunity for me to capture real, candid moments of connection.

Whether you’ve just gotten engaged, been together for years and never plan on marrying, have a special anniversary coming up, or simply want photos of the two of you marking this particular stage of life, we can design a custom session that feels like YOU.
